Abstract
Terahertz pulsed imaging (TPI) was
employed for the first time to explore its suitability for detecting
differences in the coating thickness and internal characteristics of standard
size pellets (1 mm in diameter). Furthermore,
the effect of coating characteristics on the subsequent drug release behaviour
of the pellets was investigated.
